Better building design through the use of high-fidelity CFD

Statistical wind data from a local mereological station is used along with knowledge of the surrounding terrain type and topography to define the atmospheric boundary layer or wind profile approaching the site. When this profile is coupled with a detailed near field representation of the site in question, accurate flow fields can be established, subsequently yielding reliable wind loading data.
